It would seem that "Lord" Maurice Saatchi has just submitted a a bill for nearly $3 million to the British Conservative party for services rendered during the run up to the recent UK general election. What makes it particularly amusing is that at the time "Lord" Maurice was co-chairman of the Conservative party, resigning after the election defeat while publicly criticizing the shitty campaign they had run. A word of advice Maurice, as co-chairman you share some of the responsibility, and sticking your fellow "Toffs" with a $3 million bill smacks of a certain chutzpa! At least here in the US, we wait 'til a party is in government before doing an O&M on them. Still, as the Saatchi brothers are somewhat notorious for their expensive tastes (Charlie goes for million dollar dead sharks in fish tanks, while Maurice a has a penchant for country estates and castles), I guess someone has to fund their life style. Too bad it's the party of the rich, which funnily enough currently owes about $20 million in unpaid loans. 
I needed a new one. The old one's ashtrays were full.
